Tonya Myrup, LCSW

 Tonya began her career 27 years ago as a Child Protective Services (CPS) worker. She gained valuable experience serving 6 years as an analyst with the Office of Child Protection Ombudsman (OCPO), an independent office within DHHS tasked with investigating complaints about DCFS, and facilitating solutions to strengthen services. She has taken on several regional and state leadership roles during her time with the division, including 7 years as an assistant director for DCFS where she oversaw the DCFS Child Welfare Management and Information System (SAFE), data analytics, project development and continuous quality improvement, and the federal operations team. She’s a graduate of the University of Utah and a licensed clinical social worker.
