When to Stay Home

When coming into the center, we ask that you cancel your appointment if your child or anyone else in the home is sick:

  • Fever (temp above 100.4)
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breaking
  • Chills
  • Sore Throat
  • Headache or muscle pain
  • New loss of taste or smell

Please stay home from appointments until you and your family are healthy. If you cannot attend your appointment, please let your family therapist know. We care deeply about you and your family and we worry when sessions are missed without notice!

Please know that The Children’s Center Utah will be flexible about cancellation and rescheduling policies if you are sick. Everyone’s health and safety are important!

If Your Clinician Reschedules Your Appointment

Similarly, we encourage team members to stay home if they are sick. This may mean canceling sessions if a family therapist is out sick. Someone will contact you to reschedule any missed appointments as soon as they are able to safely return to the office.
